After talking about Mel B’s’ Scary Spice ‘title in the’ 90s, Paula said: “Twenty-five years on, we have a great game show, a quiz show going on, and the only person who black is known as ‘The Dark Destroyer’.

“Now, I won’t let my children watch the first 10 minutes of this amazing, amazing question show because I don’t want my children to hear this amazing, amazing show. Mastermind a hero explains it straight down to the color of his skin.

“And not only is this amazing, sensitive man defined by the color of his skin, he’s named The Dark Destroyer – not The Big Brain, but The Dark Destroyer.”

However, while Paula may not think it is a suitable nickname for Shaun – or an appropriate nickname for her children to hear – it seems that Shaun himself has no problem with it.

On Twitter, he was asked: “I just heard a woman say Lorraine saying she wouldn’t let her baby look The chase because it is racist because of their nickname.

“Can you clarify if you’re getting offended by being named The Dark Destroyer?”

The 60-year-old replied: “Absolutely NOT !!!”

As if that were invisible enough, he answered another question on the subject: “I am proud to be dark-skinned who will strategically destroy his opponents.”

Shaun has previously revealed that the nickname, which he wears as a badge of honor, is coined by the guest Bradley Walsh.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday in July, he said: “It was Bradley who started calling me The Dark Destroyer, and there was no reason or sinister behind it.

“So no, Britain may not be as PC, but guess what? I’m proud to be black.

“If ITV were to ask me, or consider the change, I would tell them this: ‘I am proud to be black, I am proud to be dark. I want the name to remain as it is. e ‘.

“And because of my mind – and I’m destroying people because of my mind – then be like that. That’s the way I use the term The Dark Destroyer, and I don’t get And I hope other people don’t get offended anymore. “
