She may be famous for her complex love life, but new MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow says she enjoys being alone right now.
The celebrity chef, 48, told HuffPost Australia on Wednesday she was in a good position after being separated from her husband Jonathan ‘Jono’ Bennett last month.
She said it was ‘a real feeling’ to be single for a long time for the first time in 24 years.

‘Half my life I’ve been in a bad relationship,’ she said, noting how she jumped from one true romance to another without spending much time alone.
Last month, Poh announced that she had separated from her second husband, Jonathan, after six years of marriage and 12 years together altogether.
She told The Australian Weekend: ‘2021 is about me doing my favorite things and remembering who I am without someone else. [Husband] Jono and I broke down. ‘
Before meeting Jonathan, she was married to Matt Phipps for a decade.

Elsewhere in her HuffPost interview, Poh revealed how her strong Mormon upbringing affected her daily life.
‘I lamented my conservative cultural upbringing because it took away from my freedom, but at the same time made me very cautious in regressive situations,’ admitted the Malaysian-born TV star .
She has said that she and Jonathan will remain friends despite their divorce, as did she and Matt.
After their separation, Matt went on to marry Sarah Poh Sarah, with whom she also lives on good terms.
