LOS ANGELES, March 10 – When your favorite Mexico restaurant is struggling to survive, what else would you do but sit in a pool of an outsider for 24 hours to entice dinners?
To drive the point home, stuntman Hunter Ray Barker wears a T-shirt and mask with the logo of a Los Toros restaurant featuring three bulls, and gets a tattoo on his arm with the image during the marathon.
“We have a golden opportunity to catch the bull with the horns and support local businesses in a big explosion way so why?” said Barker, Taurus, who visited the restaurant for family celebrations while growing up.
Nicolas Montano, owner of Los Toros, founded in 1967 in the Chatsworth community of northwestern Los Angeles, was shocked by his idea.
“I was like ‘Are you sure? Are you sure you want to do this? ”Montano said. “And he said, ‘Yeah, I think it would be fun and it’s something I want to help the industry. ‘”
Barker’s divinity does not awaken even when nature calls.
“The big thing people asked was ‘What are you going to do when it comes to going to the restroom?’ ”He remembered when it was soft in his original wife dip recipe.
“I have a funnel that’s attached to me right now so any time I have to go to No. 1, that’s tied to a bag that’s attached to my body. For No. 2, that is a different story. We have to wait and see. ”
Barker’s support for small businesses injured in the whole outbreak affected Los Toros buyers and travelers. Diner Rick Brantley said: “It’s going to sit there for 24 hours, it’s completely deceptive. I wouldn’t do it but you know what? If it’s going to help Los Toros and the community, then I’m all for it. ” – Reuters
