Kfar Qassem players celebrate (Omri Stein)
The 20th round of the National League was signed tonight (Tuesday) with a rematch in which MS Kfar Qassem recorded a particularly dramatic away victory when they defeated the Nes Ziona section 1: 2 and went above the red line, after overtaking Hapoel Umm al-Fahm.
The first goal of the game came in the 33rd minute when Roi Dayan sent a missile from twenty-five meters to Austin Ajida’s goal and set up the half-time score. In the second half, Ness Ziona sat on Kfar Qassem’s hair and in the 79th minute the long-awaited equalizer came, when Ido Davidov hit close after a short corner. In the 92nd minute, Muhammad Khatib hit from about five meters and set up a super dramatic victory for Shlomi Dora, who has still been undefeated since being appointed coach.
Uri Gutman and Ness Ziona suffered a severe blow in attempts to return to the Premier League after only one year, when they remained in sixth place, a distance of 6 points from Hapoel Nof Hagalil in the second table.
