The Israeli Formula 1 driver Roy Nissani, the official test driver of the Williams team, will drive on the first day of the official pre-season tests of the Formula 1 season to be held in Bahrain. The Israeli will inaugurate on Friday Williams’ new car, the FW43B, which was unveiled just last week.
The other two drivers of the group, Nicholas Latippi and George Russell will also test the new car. Nissani begins his second season as the official test driver for the Williams team and in addition to driving the test in the season-opening training session, Nissani is expected to participate in more official Formula 1 training sessions.
“I am ready for the new season. On Friday I will have the opportunity to inaugurate the team’s new car, which in addition to its new design also has mechanical improvements, which I hope will help the team achieve better results than the 2020 season.
