HMD Global is likely to launch a new series with the recently released Nokia G10 arriving as the first of its models. According to a separate tip, Nokia may adopt a new naming scheme for its smartphones. Report by NokiaPowerUser Anonymous sources called to announce that HMD Global is ready to release the first smartphone under the G-on-line series, known as the Nokia G10. The Nokia G10 is believed to be the only model that was once released carrying the model number TA-1334.

She said the ‘G’ in the name could refer to gaming and the Finnish brand could market the phones as the ones suitable for long hours of continuous gaming. The source did not specify any details about the reason behind the citation.

For now, it is rumored that the Nokia G10 will come with an Octa-core chipset. Featuring a 6.4-inch display, the smartphone is expected to sport a 48 MP main camera at the back with quad-camera resolution. The report added that the specs of G10 have already been tweaked, making the upcoming product similar to the Nokia 5.4.
On the other hand, a tip with a Nokia forum account on social media has revealed that HMD could change its scheme for naming the smartphones. Twitter handle Nokibar has said the new phones launched by HMD from 2021 will no longer have the dot in its name.
As mentioned by a GizmoChina report, Nokia device users have long complained about the uncertainty that comes with the standard naming system. So with an easier naming scheme in place, HMD can hope to gain more experience. The portal also talked about the likelihood of the G10 being touted to be not only a new series but in fact, the first model to be launched using the latest naming system.
