AMC will be hosting a new teaser from the eleventh and final season of the walking Dead. During the premiere of Sunday’s extended Season 10, “Home Sweet Home,” the network released a secret preview pushing the New World Order when the walking Dead returns with Season 11 in the summer. The second teaser – released at the first Sunday release of the flashback-heavy program revisits Daryl (Norman Reedus) ‘s exploration for Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) – features familiar cones and ice cream cones reminding us of memories of the ancient world, in time before the zombie apocalypse. Here ‘s the scoop on what that sweet new teaser means:
The teaser may sound like a pre-apocalypse flashback, but the survivors come across a New World Order when they are introduced to the Commonwealth: a sprawling network of communities of nearly 50,000 left over. A post-apocalyptic utopia, many of today’s facilities reside in the Commonwealth that include a bakery and a range of events for concerts and sports games.
Earlier in Season 10, Eugene (Josh McDermitt), King Ezekiel (Khary Payton), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura), and The Princess (Paola Lázaro) have their first Army meeting. ‘Commonwealth when captured by soldiers’ white armies in “A Certain Doom.”
“The only program to come [extended Season 10 episode ‘Splinter’], that is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a whole big story to play, “presenter Angela Kang tweeted while advertising at the Commonwealth during The Walking Dead Extended Season 10 Special Preview. “There are more characters within that group to meet, but we will start to get into a little bit, getting to understand their baby, what they are about, through the perspective of our characters. But there are so many more of a cool story to come in Season 11. “
One of those characters is Mercer, which will be played by new entrant Michael James Shaw (Avengers: Infinity War, Blood & Finance) in Quarter 11.
Reflecting what these armed soldiers tell audiences about the survivors, Kang said, “It tells you that this group is terrible, they are organized, they have little access to it. the materials you have to create in a uniform way, so that’s a stark contrast to some of the groups we’ve seen. Since our organizations were only able to do things like that on a very limited basis, like [how] Eugene could only make a handful of perfect bullets. But there’s a lot more going on with those people. “
