YouTuber David Dobrik has been in hot waters since he was accused of supporting sexual assault. The allegations were made by former Vlog Squad member Seth Francois, who said he violated his license for a 2017 prank video in which he kissed teammate Jason Nash.
The prank involved Francois kissing an individual. He was thought to be the individual model Corrina Kopf. Instead, it turned out to be Nash. Years later, Francois recalled the incident and considered Dobrik’s role in carrying out this dissenting act.
Dobrik did not directly respond to these allegations. But he leaked text messages with Francois and made Scotty Sire respond to the allegations in a video. The internet has not kindly responded to this indirect response.
Dobrik’s reason for not addressing this issue could be directly related to the release of his photo sharing app. The YouTuber probably didn’t want to block the big moment.

Dobrik may not have been the preferred choice of someone else to respond to allegations against him. Sire’s video did not clear the air. Instead, it made matters worse.

<p>In his video, Sire posted clips of Dobrik seeking Francois’ permission five months before the prank was filmed. But YouTuber Kavos responded to Sire’s video by saying that Francois never gave his permission to kiss Nash.</p>

Kavos noted that people have vague minds. One seems to forget any difficult conversation that took place five months ago. Moreover, there is no indication in these fragments that Francois agreed to kiss Nash under the hood. The victim appears to have been deceived.

Although the truth has not yet been discovered, the internet believes that Dobrik could easily apologize for what happened and move on. However, his push back is suspicious and malicious.
