No matter how careful we are, there are some inevitable skin issues that most of us will have all year round; acne is one such problem. Bacteria are basically a skin condition where the hair follicles under the skin become clogged due to excessive oil generation. This leads to small breakouts and red patches on skin. According to macrobiotic nutritionist and health professional Shilpa Arora, acne is an obvious sign of an imbalance in the body where toxins are not properly excreted. “Smallpox can be invisible and very cruel, but the fact is that it is one of the most common skin conditions in adolescents worldwide,” she adds.

Home Remedies for Glossy Skin 2 easy tips to get rid of acne:

1. Have 2.5 to 3 liters of water per day:

Our skin mirrors what is in our gut from the inside. For this reason, a good amount of water each day helps us maintain hydration, relieves constipation and other gut-related irritations. This leads to proper detoxification and helps us to get glorious skin. Adding to this, Pooja Makhija says, “Add 2 teaspoons of sabja seeds (basil seeds) to your first 1-liter water. This will keep our gut cool and skin clear.”

2. Cut out dairy products:

Dairy products such as milk, cheese, ghee, butter, buttermilk etc can irritate your gut. And this leads to irritated skin.

“These are very simple tricks. Try them for 2 months and see the difference,” she concludes.
