66:76 to Nes Ziona over Hapoel Tel Aviv

Urbani Ness Ziona trailed for three quarters against Hapoel Tel Aviv, but apparently with the help of the crowd that returned to its stands, it managed to beat the Reds 66:76 and celebrate with its 300 fans who were in the hall.

Hapoel Tel Aviv has not played for almost a month due to the national team break and the corona blow that befell the club. For three quarters it looked great and it led 45:53 at the end of the third quarter. What happened in the fourth quarter no one expected – the host won it 13:31. A three by Patrick Miller (1:53 to go) raised the gap to double digits (62:72) and closed out an interest.

Brian Angola and Patrick Miller led Ness Ziona with 20 points each. Nimrod Levy added 9, Wayne Selden and Jerome Mainsi scored 8 each, Tal Dan 6 and Raviv Lemond 5.

Justin Tillman made his debut for Hapoel Tel Aviv but finished with only 4 points. Bar Timor led the visitors with 18 points, Gabe York and Tyrick Jones scored 11 each, Yam Madar scored 9 and John Dibler 4. For the Reds this is the fourth consecutive loss in the league and on Sunday they have a derby against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Urbani Nahariya defeated Maccabi Haifa 77:85 away and came out of the bottom with their hand on the top. The Greens are still without a home win this season (six losses). Throat Bloomsgay made the difference with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Michael Young scored 14. Michael Cubins scored 19 for the loser.
