
Last week on PSV Eindhoven could have been better, to say the least, but for Eran Zehavi it is a week in which he has established himself as one of the most prominent players this season in the Netherlands. With the duo at 1: 2 over Olympiacos and the perfect free kick at 1: 1 with Ajax, the local media does not stop showering praise.
In the podcast of “ed”, he talks about the excellent period in which Zahavi was. “Roger Schmidt sees him as the central star of PSV,” he was quoted as saying. “He works hard mode and although at first he does not seem to be the player they will buy a ticket for, there is something special about him.”

Last night, former striker Pierre Van Hoydonk, who was himself no small expert in free kicks, analyzed Zehavi’s performance against Ajax. “The wall was good overall,” he noted. “But if there are five people, the third on the left should be the tallest man, to prevent the ball from advancing towards the frame.
