A group of researchers has discovered the existence of space hurricanes.
Using satellite data, researchers from Shandong University identified a space hurricane and found that it was not just an air pattern but a moving pattern of gas with plasma ions.

“Until now, space plasma hurricanes were not even certain, so this is confirmed by such an astonishing observation,” explained Dr. Mike Lockwood, a space scientist at Reading University.
Explaining how space hurricanes are created, Lockwood said, “Tropical storms are associated with a huge amount of energy, and these space hurricanes must be created by an unusually large and fast movement of solar wind energy and particles on it. cut into the Earth’s upper atmosphere. “

He believes that since plasma and magnetic fields in the planets’ atmosphere are found all over the globe, the right conclusions suggest that space hurricanes can be quite widespread.
Researchers have said the mass was leaking electricity, instead of water, and lasted for nearly eight hours before breaking down.

It was also observed that the space hurricane – which occurred during low geomagnetic activity – had many similar features to the Earth ‘s hurricanes that form in the Earth’ s lower atmosphere.
These space hurricanes may also lead to weather effects as well, such as increased satellite problems, disturbances in high-frequency radio communications, satellite navigation, communications systems and more errors in radar position over the horizon.
To date, the study has been published in Nature Communications.
