In our Streaming Guide series, we list the works of a filmmaker or actor available on streaming platforms like ZEE5, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus Hotstar, Eros Now and YouTube.
In this edition is Bollywood actress Shahid Kapoor who owns films like Kaminey, Haider, Vivah, Jab We Met and Kabir Singh among others to his credit. The actor will appear in Jersey later this year, which is a Hindi remake of a Telugu film of the same name.

Shahid Kapoor debuted in 2003 with Ken Ghosh’s romantic comedy Ishk Vishk. The film made Kapoor angry among young women who went beyond the appearance of his chocolate boy. There were also Amrita Rao, Shenaz Treasurywala and Vishal Malhotra. Many young people engaged well with teenage drama for the retrospective narrative. You can flush Ishk Vishk if you are in the mood to watch something light and hearty.
Chup Chup Ke

After playing a chocolate boy in a few films that did not please the audience, Shahid Kapoor tried his hands at a comedy with Chup Chup Ke at Priyadarshan. The film was a laughing stock and had everything that explained Priyadarshan’s film: wrong identity and faulty comedy. There were also actors like Paresh Rawal, Kareena Kapoor, Suneil Shetty, Rajpal Yadav, Anupam Kher, Om Puri, and Asrani among others.
Vivah

With Vivah, Shahid Kapoor became a ‘Prem’ boy at the heart of Sooraj Barjatya. The romantic drama followed the journey of two people, Poonam (Amrita Rao) and Prem (Kapoor) from the time they meet until their marriage. He condemned the couple’s upheaval and their last union in a very ‘sanskaari’ way. If nothing else, you can look to Vivah to improve your command of Hindi language.
Job we met

“Hoon’s Favorite Apni”, “Akeli Ladki Khuli Tijori Ki Tarah Hoti Hai” and “Sikhni Hoon Main Bhatinda Ki” are some of the few conversations that came into our daily conversations after Imtiaz Ali brought us to -into the girl Geet next door. (Kareena) and suave Aditya Kashyap (Shahid) in Jab We Met. The film not only drew people to the theaters once but also for the second and third time. Even today, the film finds a place in the list of films that could brighten up your sad day.
Kaminey

Kaminey is a story of a conflict between twin brothers, played by Shahid Kapoor, who suffers from a specific speech impediment. One is lisps and other stutters. Priyanka Chopra recounts the place of Sweety, a Maharashtrian girl, who falls in love with one of the couple. Kaminey ‘s music became a rage and for the longest time after the film’ s release, people tried to replace ‘f’ in their speech.

Directed by Prabhudheva, star Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha is an action comedy often set in an unconscious land. Watch it at your own risk, especially if you like the actor’s dance.
Haider

A version of Hamlet by William Shakespeare, Haider is set in Kashmir in 1995. It is the story of a young boy Haider (Shahid Kapoor) who is returning from his university in Aligarh to look for the father of Dr. Hilaal Meer (Narendra Jha) who went after him on charges of killing a soldier. Not just one, there are several reasons to see this film from the cinema brand at Vishal Bhardwaj. From the protagonists to screenshots and direction, everything about the film deserves special mention. The film won five National Awards, Best Screenplay, Best Musical Direction, Best Male Singer, Best Performance, Best Costume Design and Best Costume Design.
Udta Punjab

Star Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh not only boasted of spectacular performances but also reflected the harsh reality of the Punjab state. In her review, Shubhra Gupta, writer of The Indian Express, wrote, “Udta Punjab is a crack of a title, and the way it opens tells us that it will go on as it is meant to be. : with action-ready rolling hills, with characters that look like they belong in Punjab and speak the right lingo (usually). More importantly, he appears willing to go over to the dark side and show what drugs can do. They can damage it. They can kill. They may wish you weren’t alive. ”

Padmaavat featured Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.
Shahid Kapoor Maharaja Rawal Ratan Singh played in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s time drama, Padmaavat. Ranveer Singh delivered another best performance in terms of a role as sociopathic tyrant Alauddin Khijli. While Deepika Padukone and Shahid were good in the film, Ranveer received the biggest awards.
