Ahead of NXT UK this week, a grudge match between Xia Brookside and longtime rival Nina Samuels has been announced, with the loser of the bout becoming a personal supporter of the winner for a month.
It was also announced a tournament game, with Pretty Deadly targeting Gallus for the NXT UK Tag Team Tournaments. In addition, Bailey Matthews, the new entrant of NXT UK, took home the inaugural NXT UK Tyler Bate Championship, and Aiofe Valkyrie went head-to-head with UK independent wrestling star Lana Austin.
Future games for the show with also announced on this show for the coming weeks, including a mixed tag team game.

NXT UK opens with Xia Brookside vs Nina Samuels
In the opening match of NXT UK, the long-running feud between Xia Brookside and Nina Samuels came to an end, with high promises – whoever lost would be a personal supporter of the other for a month.
Brookside entered first, followed by Samuels. Xia Brookside quickly added to its rival, launching a fierce attack. Nina Samuels tried to avoid this by getting out of the ring, but her competitor followed her. Samuels prevented the couple from counting out by throwing Brookside back inside.
Samuels then began to fight back, and held Brookside in a chin lock before moving to an armbar. After Brookside escaped from here, she went at Samuels with a series of strikes and tried to pin her, but kicked out at two. Samuels then entered Brookside at the side of the ring, and the pair were almost counted again.
Nina Samuels then tried to attack Brookside with a handbag, which she kicked out of her hands and used suplex to crush Samuels for the win. With that, the star found herself an assistant on NXT in the form of Nina Samuels.
