After a week of rest from the Euroleague games, Maccabi Tel Aviv is trying tonight (Thursday) to continue the momentum from the league games. The team of Yannis Sapropoulos, who have not yet given up on the top 8, hopes to beat Bayern Munich in Germany.
Both teams came after a loss in the previous round, when the Yellows were defeated against Milan – 87:68, while the Bavarians were surprised by Wheelerban – 87:79.
On the professional side Scotty Wilbkin, Othello Hunter and Omri Caspi, whose qualifications were questioned, eventually came with the team to Germany, and they were listed on the game form. On the other hand, TJ Klein was not included in the form. Also, Yuval Sussman, who is suffering from a tear in the lateral ligament of his knee, will not be available to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Now, the Yellows will try to take revenge on the team from ninth place, and on the way to keeping the chance of qualifying for the top 8.

The Bavarians started with a 0: 4 run but the yellow team soon took over the game with their own 0:11 run thanks to Lavender and Žižić. Two quick baskets got the Germans back on track but Cohen stopped the momentum with two accurate threes – 8:17 to Maccabi.
