Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates are in talks to establish a strategic defense alliance between the two countries, this was revealed today (Thursday) in a report on i24NEWS.
A senior official in the UAE, as well as a Saudi official close to the royal family, told i24NEWS that the alliance between the two countries was intended to safeguard security-political interests, similar to NATO.
No official response has yet been received from the Prime Minister’s Office. Political source: ‘We do not confirm the news. “Israel is constantly working to strengthen ties with the Arab world.”
Earlier today, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with the UAE’s heir, Salman Muhammad al – Khalifa, and it is possible that the two also discussed the establishment of the alliance.
There are common similarities between Israel and the Gulf states that bear the covenant, in that Israel, like Saudia and to a lesser extent the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, has a large and high-tech military force and is in constant conflict with Iranian metastases in the region.
The Saudi army numbers 75,000 combatants in regular service and at least 200,000 reservists. Most of the equipment in his possession is made by Western countries, mainly made by the United States, Britain and Germany. The Saudi army has at its disposal almost a thousand tanks, including more than 400 Abrams. Saudi Arabia has thousands of American-made ammunition and close to 700 mobile artillery made in the United States and China. The Saudi Air Force has at its disposal hundreds of advanced American F-15 and British Tornado fighter jets.
