What contributes to the ability to keep the phone in a folded position without slots is a different structure than usual, moving from a higher thickness on the inside on one side to a lower thickness at a pace, while on the other side the structure is upside down – thick on the outside and thinner on the inside. The main camera array on the back of the device comes with a 50 megapixel main camera, which supports optical stabilization (OIS) and offers an aperture key of f / 1.9, and with it is a 16 megapixel camera for taking pictures at an extra wide angle with an f / 2.2 aperture key, telephoto camera with resolution 12 megapixel with optical stabilization, support for optical zoom up to 3x and f / 2.4 aperture key, and finally – the main zoom camera of the periscope type, with 8 megapixel sensor, support for optical stabilization, aperture key f / 4.4 and the ability to achieve optical zoom of up to 10 times. On the external screen of the device is also a selfie camera with a 16-megapixel sensor.

The Huawei Mate X2 folding device will be available in two new colors – “crystal blue” and “pink crystal”, along with the classic black and white colors.
