Iranian Foreign Minister: “Biden is no different from Trump”

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif said today (Sunday) that the country does not intend to return to the negotiating table with the United States, two days before the deadline set by Iran for the removal of restrictions and sanctions on it by the United States. In addition, Zarif said that John Biden’s administration has so far not been different from that of former President Donald Trump, and that both are exerting maximum pressure on Iran.

“The United States must return to the deal and remove the sanctions to which it is addicted. It must know that Iran will not succumb to the sanctions,” the foreign minister said, adding that “all steps Iran has taken can be changed and revoked, but first and foremost an American step must be taken.”
