This week, the joint HUB of the companies for promoting innovation in the field of inshortech – GDH TLV – was launched. The launch was held at Zoom, with the participation of Ponbiki Shinichiro, MSI President, Muki Schneidman, Chairman of the Board of IDI, Kobi Haber, CEO of Bituach Yashir, and Raz Bartov, VP of Technology and Innovation at Bituach Yashir. The event is intended to present to the community The technology has the potential to participate in HUB, both in working with direct insurance, and as an access channel to Japan, Southeast Asia and the world.The event was attended by high-tech executives and startups interested in Hab.
Direct Insurance is proud to say that since the announcement of the establishment of HUB, dozens of startups have approached the company, in a variety of business areas, and six of them have already been absorbed into HUB, and are in the POC phase, whether in the planning phase or in actual execution.

The HUB focuses on locating startups, technology companies, ideas and entrepreneurs, developing products and solutions for the insurance world, in the areas of automotive, property, life, health and more. The HUB is managed in Israel, in direct insurance offices, under the management of Raz Bartov, VP of Technology and Innovation, and as a joint venture with MSI.
The HUB has adopted an accelerated feasibility study track, which will allow the company, MSI and entrepreneurs to demonstrate technological feasibility capabilities in a short period of time, while accessing MSI’s leading technology infrastructure and marketing channels in Japan, East Asia and the world. Both sides have assigned senior and skilled teams to the venture, and will share costs and investments equally. The HUB’s Japanese team is scheduled to arrive for a permanent stay in the country as soon as possible, when the corona restrictions are lifted.
