Ernest Mabuka, Score: 6
Did a good job from the wing and cooked a great goal
Taleb Twataha, Score: 4
Something goes through the player who has a hard time presenting the ability that is expected of him
When Nikita Rokavica was injured against Ashdod, Maccabi Haifa fans and everyone connected to the club grabbed their heads. Everyone was worried about who would be the man who would fill the huge gap of the king of league goals in the last year and a half. Two weeks later, they got the answer – Goodsway Donio. After the goals against Hapoel Haifa and Beitar Jerusalem, this time, the derogatory striker made a bad appearance for the Greens and gave Bachar a 1: 2 over Umm al-Fahm in the 90th minute, on the way to the quarterfinals.
The Greens were very far from impressive, to say the least, but in a cup like a cup, what matters in the end is the result, probably given that Becher had to do without most of its key players, a reminder of the penalties from the derby events. On the other hand, a lot of compliments go to a team from the national league of Motti Ivanir, who for many minutes managed to frustrate the host and did not allow her to get into situations.
The start of the game did not herald the following. In the 11th minute, it seemed that Haifa was on its way to an easy trip, after Neta Lavi gave a huge advantage with a wonderful kick between the connections, which left Tomer Latibinov no chance. But this goal did bad for Barak Bachar’s team. Instead of continuing to attack and finish the game with a second goal, the Premier League leader fell asleep, went backwards and allowed the visitors to gain confidence as the minutes went by. In the 45th minute, the penalty came, when Leban Kotlia, ex Hapoel Tel Aviv, took advantage of great cooking by Naor Abodi and brought the teams down with sensational equality to the locker rooms.
Even in the second half the trend did not change. Bachar tried to stimulate his players and made a number of substitutions, but none of them, including Muhammad Awad who recorded a huge miss, failed to bring about the change. Two minutes after that miss of the striker who returned from Poland, Donio arrived and showed him how to do it right. The offender took advantage of a perfect wide ball from Ernest Mabouka and with a light touch to the near corner, raised the Greens to the next level and forgot the bad ability.
