Dor Micha and Omer Atzili are currently considering filing a lawsuit against Maccabi Tel Aviv, following the yellow club’s decision to release them after an affair in which they were involved with the two minors and in which the investigation file against them was closed for innocence. The person representing the two is lawyer Roi Rosen.

ONE has learned that if the lawsuit is filed and the two or one of them decides to go for the move, it will be a lawsuit of millions of shekels, in which the plan is to claim that they owe image and personal damage by not returning them to the club when their guilt was not proven. Among the allegations raised during the talks about whether to sue Maccabi Tel Aviv, the possibility arose of suing between long-term damage to the personal and professional aspect of their careers, financial damage they suffered but above all damage to their name and reputation.

The lawsuit is not yet in preparation, when the two, of course, will no longer be Maccabi Tel Aviv players. Noble Omar returned from Epoel Nicosia to Maccabi Haifa, while Micha did not return to Israel in the last window when Hapoel Beer Sheva courted him and she is expected to do so again in the summer with the aim of joining him. By the way, the two already considered the idea of suing Maccabi Tel Aviv around the summer transfer to the Cypriot league, but it was decided to wait with that and the lawsuit was finally not filed. It remains to be seen whether they will decide to go for this move to the end and wholeheartedly, and if so, whether they will both file the lawsuit or just one of the two.

It should be noted that when talks were held about bringing Micha to Beer Sheva and the possibility of an improvement fee arose, Maccabi Tel Aviv agreed to waive the improvement fee on the condition that a blanket would sign a waiver of future lawsuits against the club. Anorthosis’ refusal to discuss the player’s sale in January, however, prevented any discussion of the issue. Maccabi Tel Aviv are of course not aware of the issue and will wait to see if such a lawsuit is filed.
