Vince Russo returned as the guest on SK Wrestling’s UnSKripted, and former WWE writer was asked about Chris Benoit’s son, David Benoit, wanting to become a professional keeper.
Vince Russo supported David’s goal and believed that Chris Benoit’s eldest son should not be held accountable for his father’s actions. Russo admitted that he would feel bad if David Benoit got the chances in the wrestling industry because of the tragedy over his father’s death.
Vince Russo had the following about Chris Benoit’s son:

“God, bro. Yeah, I mean, if it’s that child’s dream and he’s working as hard as everyone else. Gosh, bro. Father’s sins, I don’t think you should be responsible for, you know.And if the boy never gets a job because of that, man, I feel really, really, really bad for the dude, bro. I mean, what was he supposed to do. “
David Benoit’s goal goals
It’s no secret that David Benoit has eroded desires to enter the ring for some time now. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, David revealed that he was training and wanted to wrestle like ‘Chris Benoit Jr. ‘in AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling. David even tried to get into NJPW but admitted that achieving successfully was a challenging task.
“That’s the goal, to get back to wrestling.”
“Sin [to sign with AEW] would be the goal or New Japan – I tried to get into it. It’s so hard to get in, man; is the hardest place to get into. “
David Benoit has attended a few WWE house shows in the past, and was last seen back on stage at the WWE Live Event in 2019. He even stood for a photo with Natalya at the ceremony.
Benoit is a big AEW fan as he was also present at the PPV Double of Nothing 2019.
