Two days before it meets Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Euroleague, Milan have added a new reinforcement. The Italians have announced the arrival of the center, Jeremy Evans, who played last season in the Moscow Khimki. Evans will undergo a series of medical tests before the official signing, so it is doubtful he will partner with the champion The Israeli.
Evans, who stands 206 cm tall, was selected in the 2010 draft by the Utah Jazz and managed to spend five seasons in the media, one of which he spent in the Development League. Later he also played in Dallas and Atlanta and then tried his luck in Europe. One in the NBA ring competition. In the Euroleague, Evans last year provided 8.5 points in 20 minutes on the floor.
Earlier, Milan, who have yet to recover from the Italian Cup win celebrations, announced that Zack Lydie will be out for about two weeks – which may have led to Evans signing. Lydie, ex Gilboa / Galil, was injured during the cup final and the club will re-evaluate his fitness in about two weeks. Lydie has scored 10.3 points so far and picked up 4.7 rebounds in the Euroleague.
At the same time, reports across Europe say that Gustavo Ion, ex-Real Madrid and Zenit are considering options in the Euroleague. The report said the chin was in the sights of CSKA, which recently signed Michael Eric, and Andulo Zero.

Gustavo Ayon is looking for the Euroleague return, per sources. Ayon was strongly considered by CSKA Moscow & Anadolu Efes recently, I was told.
CSKA ended up signing Micheal Eric, meanwhile, Anadolu Efes decided not to spend in the market and to wait for Tibor Pleiss to return.
