Exhausted from the long journey from the World Team Championship, Bayern Munich tonight (Monday) hosted the snow-capped Arminia Bielefeld at the bottom (Monday) and the two provided one of the most dramatic games of the season, ending in a tense 3-3 tie in the 21st round of the Bundesliga.
After the first minutes of the game there was heavy snow, the host’s first game as world champion was stopped so they could clear it from the field, but the goals actually fell on the side of the newcomer, who took the lead from a goal by Michelle and Lap. Then Amos Piper stunned the locals and raised to 0: 2, but the real drama began in the second half.

The fiery Robert Lewandowski returned the Reds to the picture in an amazing volley in the 48th minute, but not a minute passed and the guest stung for the third time – Christian Gabbower subdued Manuel Neuer. The Reds did not give up, and by the end Corinthian Tolisso (57) and Alfonso Davis (69 with a huge missile) brought them back to a draw. A five-game winning streak in the league has been cut short for Hans Flick’s side, whose gap from second-placed Leipzig now stands at five points.
