“Until he passes, Drummond will not be a partner in Cleveland.”

Following the signing of Jarrett Allen, the Cleveland Cavaliers vacate: Tonight (Monday) it was reported in the US that the Cubs will not share center Andre Drummond until he finds a new team. The former champion is currently working on a trade, with the teams interested in Drummond’s services being Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets – and the leading candidate, the Toronto Raptors.

As you may recall, about a month ago, Cleveland recruited Allen, along with Torian Prince, as two new acquisition players from the Brooklyn Nets, as part of a triple deal that also included the Houston Rockets. This season, Alan has an average of 12.3 points per game and 8.8 rebounds, while in Cleveland his points average has actually risen to 13.2 points.

For the 27-year-old Drummond the next team will be the third of his career, having played eight consecutive years for the Detroit Pistons (who also selected him in the 2012 draft), and he leaves Cleveland after just over a year, averaging 17.5 points per game.
