Iran: A cat caused a power outage in an entire city

An unusual incident in Iran: The Isna news agency reported today (Saturday) that a cat has infiltrated the control center of the main power station on the island of Harag, a large island off the coast of Bender Abbas where more than 10,000 people live.

According to the description in the news agency, the animal walked on the circuit board of the power plant and turned off and operated systems at his feet. The orders sent by the cat caused a fire in one of the transformers. Following the fire, the power supply to all parts of the island was cut off.

A resident of the island told the news agency: “All we know is that the cat entered the power plant facility and a fire broke out. The fire brigade managed to control the fire, but as a result of the damage, the electricity did not return until this very hour.
