The buyer in Valheim, Haldor, is a very helpful NPC who offers a handful of special items for players to buy.
Haldor can also be crucial when it comes to players trying to sell the valuables in their game. However, finding the merchant in Valheim can be a bit tricky as Haldor does not have an established spawning place. Moreover, Haldor does not even promise to breed on a particular island.
This means players may have to go through a fair amount of scavenging before they finally run into Haldor.
Haldor usually spouts in the Black Forest biome, but due to the world’s random generation, the buyer may appear on several islands in Valheim.
As soon as the player can find Haldor, they will be able to offer the resources of the merchant as well as sell their own valuable products in exchange for gold coins.
Haldor the merchant in Valheim
Haldor provides six unique products and facilities for players to purchase from him. These include:
- Yule Hat – Priced at 100 gold coins and looks like a Santa hat.
- Dverger Circle – Priced at 620 gold coins and creates light without carrying a torch.
- Megingjord – The most expensive item available from Haldor is the price of 950 gold coins and will increase the maximum weight the player can carry by 150 points.
- Ymir Flesh – At a price of 120 gold coins, this craft item is essential in hammer making.
- Fishing rod – Priced at 350 gold coins, this gear is ideal for players who want to catch fish in Valheim
- Fishing Feeding x50 – At the price of 10 gold coins, players must purchase fishing bait if they intend to catch fish.

Haldor also buys resources and other supplies for players in exchange for gold coins. Players can gather these resources by scouring around the Valheim map, especially in the Swamp biomes.
Nevertheless, finding Haldor is still a difficult task for most players due to the lack of a spawn space based on all maps.
Players even had to explore the Black Forest biome on many islands before they could finally find Haldor in Valheim.
