WWE seems to want more than just Bad Bunny on the road to WrestleMania. According to WWE President Nick Khan, they want Cardi B as well.
Earlier today, Alfred Konuwa of Forbes sat down with Khan to talk about all things WWE. When the theme of Bad Bunny and Cardi B appeared because of WWE’s frequent involvement with popular musical acts over the years, Khan was not shy about the fact that he wants to see her on future WWE programs.
“Yes, and in particular the two things you mentioned. Of course, there are no rides right now, so the ability to get a Bad Bunny no matter how long this run takes – and you’re going to see a lot of it – I don’t think that would have been in a world where Bad Bunny was touring. That’s going to be an ongoing effort, so we’re always going to look at Bad Bunny, Cardi B to get involved. ”
How would WWE use Cardi B at WrestleMania?
Khan would discuss how the current state of the world as a result of the pandemic makes dealing with those in the music industry easier as they are not out on tour. right now.
“It made it easier to contract this time because they haven’t – over the life of the agreement – been out of 25 different chairs during that time. Most concert money is made in the summer. There are unlikely to be any big tours in the summer, even we are all optimistic, so we will see what other people we are talking to and who you will see in the mix. ”
The last phrase there certainly means that WWE might be interested in other names that we don’t know about yet. Bow Wow has been very vocal today on Twitter about wanting to do something with the company in the future. Don’t be surprised to see WWE RAW or SmackDown coming soon.
