Actress Parineeti Chopra, who has stepped into the shoes of Hollywood star Emily Blunt for a Hindi remake of The Girl on the Train, On Saturday she said she is aware of the comparisons with the original film but came to it without any baggage. The original 2016 film was based on the wholesale novel of the same name by Paula Hawkins. It revolves around Rachel, an alcoholic divorcee, who goes into search of a missing woman.
Chopra said she accepted the challenge of being part of the Hindi version of the mahogany and focused on delivering her best performance.
“I did not approach GOTT for fear of being compared to Emily Blunt. She is a top actress and I knew from the time I was doing the official Indian remake, that comparisons were going to be In fact, I was happy to deliver on this challenge of a role at the same level as the film earlier, “Chopra said in a statement.
