Nick Jonas turns into an old man by simply carving his fingers in the Super Bowl hat for Dexcom

Nick Jonas turns into an old man with a lump of his fingers in the Super Bowl ad for Dexcom’s Glucose Monitor Sytem.

The 28-year-old singer and actor was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes back in 2007, with this new product eliminating the need for ‘fingerticks’ in daily glucose testing.

The Jumanji star: Welcome to the Jungle star inspired the new device, showcasing visual effects technology that will turn him into an old man.

Jonas is dressed in a dark gray shirt under a black leather jacket, beginning by saying, ‘We have the technology to do this,’ as he carves his fingers and transforms it into the old man.

At the tip of his fingers, he is seen with gray hair and a gray beard with rugs, as he is described as a ‘Dexcom hero.’

It then amazes us that we live in a time where, ‘drones deliver packages,’ and yet, ‘people with diabetes are still lifting their fingers? ‘

He went on to say that we have ‘self-driving cars’, vaccinated robots and pictures from a Mars rover, but still, people with diabetes have to deal with fingers.

The days of fingerprinting seem to be over with Dexcom’s G6 Glucose Monitoring System, which is controlled through your phone.

‘It shows your voice correctly on your phone, and where it goes, without fingers,’ said Jonas.

Jonas added to these Dexcom G6 offerings, ‘technology that makes it easier for us to manage our diabetes.’

‘It looks like the future is available now,’ he concluded as the Super Bowl trade comes to an end.

The trade-off is for those with diabetes to ‘start’ with this new technology on their website Dexcom.com.
