Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who will be 74 next month, was diagnosed today (Tuesday) as positive for the corona virus, the team said in an official statement on its behalf, in which it also reassured that the Spaniard is not suffering from symptoms.
Bricks coach Zinedine Zidane contracted the virus 12 days ago, but just today recovered and passed the training to the team for the first time since becoming ill. At the moment Peres is entering home isolation. Reserve team coach Raul also fell ill on January 19 and has already recovered.
Spain have even been reassured that Peres has not come into contact recently with any of Real Madrid’s staff, including the coaching staff and players.
