The complainant, about 20 years old, told the Jerusalem District Police that a suspect she knew a few years ago had committed a serious sexual offense while meeting in the city. Police have opened an investigation.
In recent days, two more young women have filed complaints against him, following the explosion of the affair and the publication of his name along with the names of the other suspects. One of those complainants, a resident of Ashdod, testified that she had been in a relationship with Zeno in the past. She claims he raped her about four years ago. Following that rape, she added, she became pregnant and had an abortion. She further stated that after the incident, he severed contact with her and she did not see him anymore, and that the publication about his accusation of rape in Ashkelon led her to file a complaint against him.
“Encourage the defendants and document the incident”
As mentioned, the Supreme Court allowed the publication of the names of the defendants in the rape and aggravated sodomy of a 17-year-old girl from Ashkelon about a week ago: Moshe Zino (20), Aviv Ohayon (23), Yitzhak Maman (24), Lior Simhon (29) and Daniel Danilov (20). Everyone except Ohayon is also accused of supplying a dangerous drug.
According to the indictment, attributed to all the defendants, the girl, about 17 years old at the time of the incident that took place in the summer of 2020, was Zeno’s partner, and the two arranged to meet. She arrived at an apartment in Ashkelon. The defendants along with another whose identity is unknown sat with the girl in the living room and smoked cannabis. At one point the defendants and the other entered the room where the girl was staying and committed sexual offenses in it together, despite her refusal and while insulting her. According to the indictment, Zeno encouraged the other defendants with humiliating chants and documented the incident.
