The Regional Labor Court today (Tuesday) granted the request of the chairman of the Football Referees Committee, Oren Bornstein, and issued a temporary order preventing a hearing in Bornstein’s case before the Football Association’s disciplinary court.

Bornstein was suspended and a hearing was held after he was alleged to have impersonated the critic and entered a football game in the national league of Hapoel Ramat Gan against Hapoel Jerusalem.
Bornstein claims in his application to the court that: “The” hearing “and suspension proceedings instituted against the applicant, as well as the results of the hearing, were conducted without authority and in bad faith, and while exercising foreign considerations of harming the applicant who is chairman of the Israel Football Referees Committee.”
Bornstein also claims against Yariv Tepper, the general manager of the judges’ union, that the hearing procedure: “is an attempt to exploit the disproportionate power of the chief justice of the judges.” He claims that this was not done with clean hands and claims that the general manager acts selectively. Bornstein also added in his application to the Labor Court that: “To the best of the applicant’s knowledge, the respondent’s treasurer (Association, JL) also regularly attends the games of his beloved team, Maccabi Haifa, in the way the applicant entered the game in Ramat Gan, but no one in the respondent found It is right (and rightly so) to prosecute the same treasurer. ”
