Less than a day after actress Owen Rachel Wood accused singer Marilyn Manson of “horrific abuse that lasted for years” during their relationship, the record company she signed announced today (Tuesday) the musician’s dismissal due to accusations against him, which meanwhile multiplied: three more women released Similar allegations against Manson for emotional and psychological abuse over the past ten years.
Wood and Manson were in a relationship that began in 2007. Wood was then 19 and Manson was double her age, 38. The two became engaged in 2010 but later separated. In a post posted by the actress on her Instagram account, she described a chilling mask of abuse that began when she was a girl.
“The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson,” Wood wrote. “He started nurturing me when I was a girl and abused me terribly for years. He brainwashed me and I was manipulated to be submissive.”
Wood added: “I have finished living in fear of revenge, slander or extortion. I am here to expose this dangerous man and point a finger at the many industries that allow him to continue, before ruining another life. I stand with the many victims who will no longer remain silent.”

Manson’s record label, Loma Vista Recordings, said in a statement that in light of the “disturbing allegations” made by Wood and other women, the company “will stop promoting his current album in effect immediately.” The label added that “due to developments in this regard, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”
Manson was later fired from TV series in which he participated: his guest appearance in the fantasy drama “American Gods” will be removed from the upcoming episode, and the American television network Stars stated in a statement: “Stars stands unequivocally with all the victims and survivors of the abuse.” AMC has announced that episodes of the horror series “Creep Show” starring Manson will not be aired.
Manson, for his part, denied the allegations and wrote in his own post: “Obviously my art and life have long been magnets of controversy, but recent claims about mine are terrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been in complete agreement with similar partners,” he claimed. “No matter how – and why – others now choose to misrepresent the past, it’s the truth.”
