Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh played some time out of their busy schedules to enjoy a perfect date night in Mumbai on Friday. The couple was photographed at a restaurant in Bandra. Director Shakun Batra, who is working with Deepika on a new film, joined the duo for dinner. Deepika Padukone, who was previously seen buying a grocery store in Santa Cruz on Friday (more on that later), chose an all-black dress for her date night, while Ranveer Singh look cool as usual in a yellow sweatshirt paired with blue joggers and green shoes. The couple pictured arriving at the restaurant alone but left for home walking hand in hand.

Earlier in the day, Deepika Padukone was photographed buying groceries at Foodhall in Santa Cruz. She was wearing a black hoodie, cropped jeans and a pair of dark showers. The actress, who prefers her work, went out of the store with a sack.

Speaking of Deepika Padukone’s new film with Shakun Batra, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in the project are yet to be announced. Deepika Padukone fired for the project in Alibaug last year.

Deepika Padukone will also be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Pathan and opposite Hrithik Roshan entered Fighter.
