Nothing new: 100: 116 to Atlanta over Washington

Beginning of an article

The snowball is gaining momentum. Washington recorded tonight (Friday-Saturday) its fourth straight loss, 116: 100 at home to Atlanta, and dropped to a 12: 3 balance (the worst in the NBA). Danny Abdia did not take part in the match, but was present in the courtroom and saw up close that Trey Young scored 41 points, and Russell Westbrook, Rajon Rondo and Robin Lopez were sent off.

Unlike previous games where the Wizards were in matters until the final minutes, this time the battle was in one-sided status and Bradley Bill did not mention his usual ability. The team from the capital led with a record of only 2 points (compared to Atlanta’s 23), and Bill entered the final quarter with 13 points. The star took care to slightly improve the numbers in Garbage Time and he finished with 26 (0 of 8 from three).

After Washington’s last loss Bill admitted he was frustrated, and today the same frustration appeared on the floor as well. Six technical fouls were burned for the host’s duty, including one for Bill and two for Westbrook and Lopez who were sent off in the second half. Rondo waved goodbye when Westbrook was sent off, and later he too was sent to the locker room.

The Wizards got Roy Hachimura, Davis Bartans and Moe Wagner back, but the three scored a combined 10 points on 19 percent from the field. Like Bill, Westbrook also scored 26 and Grayson Matthews added 10 from the bench. The whole Brooks’ team handed out 13 assists, and that way it would be very difficult for them to get along against Brooklyn between Sunday and Monday. Among the 9:10 winners, John Collins assisted Liang with 17 points.
