Troubles continue to attack Betar Jerusalem: In the shadow of the fear of canceling the game against Maccabi Petah Tikva in two days, the team from the capital received a particularly difficult line according to which nine more corona patients were discovered among the team’s players. This morning, Betar Jerusalem underwent additional corona tests.
The test results showed 9 positive players for the virus, which joins the 8 that were found positive in the tests conducted at the beginning of the week and two other staff members (a total of 19 infected).

Just this morning (Thursday) the team announced that Ophir Krieff had also been infected with the virus while Glaofilo Hasselbaink reported severe symptoms, making it clear that there may be more infected with the rest of the results obtained. Now that questions have come and heralded a record number of people infected with the virus, it has been decided that its activity will be stopped completely temporarily. This means that Betar will not be able to play and will not be able to train.
According to a Betar announcement, these are the new players infected with the virus: Tal Ben Haim, Ali Muhammad, Shalom Edri, Glaofilo Hasselbaink, Itamar Nitzan, Oren Bitton, Shai Konstantin, Yarden Shua and Kim Zivat (the youth team goalkeeper). Infected with the virus, they are Ophir Krief, Michael Ohana, Roi Padida, Idan Vered, Tamir Adi, Uziel Pardo, Santiago Ocampus, Diego Verdasca and Teosinio, who is in Brazil and was found positive a few days ago.
“We are in a state of outbreak,” the club said this morning, “yesterday two of the medical staff became infected, today players arrived spilled in their vehicles from pain and illness.
