“Release Bill”: The Wizards star on the way out?

Beginning of an article

The melody returns. Putting aside the corona outburst and injury plague, the narrative that accompanies the Washington Wizards this season is Bradley Bill’s exceptional ability that clashes with the team’s shocking ability. Also tonight (Wednesday-Thursday), Bill provided a tremendous game with 47 points, but the team from the capital lost to New Orleans 124: 106 (did not lead once) and dropped to an 11: 3 balance, the worst in the league.

“Someone call the Wizards and get Bill out of there,” tweeted journalist Brett Siegel and joined the campaign for the star’s “release” under the caption “Free Beal.” Former player and journalist Kendrick Perkins also pleaded with the star: “You’ve been loyal to the Wizards long enough, it’s time.”

The Washington star, who leads the league in points with 35.4 such per game, broke a negative record tonight. He became the first player in history to lose 10 consecutive games in which he scored 40+ points. What’s more, Bill completed 13 games with 40+ points from last season’s opener, and the Wizards lost 12 of them. In the three away games they have lost this week – Bill scored 111 points. It was not by chance that his wife wrote at the end of the game that she was “tired”.

Bill was asked at the press conference if he was frustrated, and replied sarcastically: “Is the sky blue?”. The guard also went on to talk about his future at the club, making sure to clarify his position: “The situation is difficult, we want to win and I want to win here. That’s why I chose to stay here. I came to the conclusion that this is where I can win.”

Meanwhile, the U.S. began fantasizing about the team that would win Bill’s ranks if and when he leaves – and ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith suggested the Clippers hit the iron as long as he’s hot. “They can’t beat the Lakers,” Smith said. “If they pair Bill with Kwai Leonard and Paul George, we’ll have another savor to tell.”
