Real Madrid – Panathinaikos 66:76

Oded Katash’s Greek side were halted after three consecutive victories in all competitions, including a 78:94 win over Russian Moscow Khimki in the previous round of the Euroleague. Now, the Greens hold a balance of 14 losses versus 7 wins in 15th place. On the other hand, the Blancos managed to forget the losses to the Red Star Belgrade and Maccabi Tel Aviv, raised their balance to 14 victories compared to 8 losses and established themselves at the top of the Euroleague. Gabriel Dek excelled with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the Spaniards, while 18 points from Nemanja Nedovic were not enough for Katsch, Lior Lubin & Co.

Alba Berlin – CSKA Moscow 71:68

The Russians had to sweat against the belligerent team from Germany, scoring only 14 points in the second quarter and 18 in the second quarter, but an excellent final quarter in which they left the host on just 12 points helped them win towards the end on the way to a 6:16 balance. Torinka Shangalya excelled with 20 points for the visitors.

Wheelerban – Basconia 77:83

The French clung to the opponent from Spain in the Euroleague table, precisely after an excellent first quarter of the visitors with 17:26. Wheelerban frustrated the visitors in the third quarter with an incredible 7:23 and cruised to victory in the final quarter as well, with David Lighty providing a 21-point performance.

Valencia – Zalgiris Kaunas 79:78

The Lithuanians put together a fourth consecutive victory in all competitions, raising their balance in the Euroleague to 13 victories compared to 9 losses and establishing their position in the top 8. On the other hand, the Spaniards failed to leverage the 61:83 over Basconia in the Spanish league 90:77 to the French Willerban in the previous round. Following the loss, Valencia went down to a 11:11 balance and are now out of the picture of promotion to the next stage. Augustine Robit stood out in Zalgiris with 17 points, while on the other hand, 18 points from Kalman Perplich were not enough.
