Boxing: Mike Tyson finally reveals reasons behind ‘really dark’ press conference liquid

Mike Tyson was pretty much back in the day.

‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, famous for its thundering temple, had a terribly short fuse and when he left, he left in awe.

In the ring, Tyson was almost brutal in the way he eliminated opponents but outside of him was where his legendary anger was truly revered.

Many a narrator could tell scary stories of times when ‘Iron Mike’ included a line of questioning or just shutting down in an interview.

Tyson was almost never bothered by the fact that he was being interviewed on live television, going for back-to-back reports and unnecessary verbal jabs.

In fact, interviewing the overweight star was an abuse that could go through all sides in the blink of an eye.

However, while his interview antics were enough to make a man ‘s blood run cold, he was at his pre – fight press conferences where Tyson could explode.

Who can ever forget the hateful tirade Tyson who went out after losing his senses at that infamous Lennox Lewis conference.

After the couple approached beats right there on stage, Tyson took an idea out of his way with a member of the assembled audience.

What followed was just nauseating as Tyson fluently uttered every expletive and homophobic slur in the book.

However, in the years that have passed since his controversial career, Tyson has been deceived and is now able to look back on those angry days with a glance.

Speaking of his popular podcast, Hotboxin ‘, Tyson tried to explain some of the reasons behind his behavior at press conferences.

“I was always crossing the line,” he said.

I remember once Larry Holmes put out his hand and I didn’t stretch out his hand. I was that kind of guy, I was very dark, because I was insecure.

It’s always interesting to listen to Tyson talk about his career.

He was the youngest overweight champion in history but, as controversy stalked hard, his career ceased and he never achieved his stratospheric potential.

Now, Tyson has got his life back on track, got himself back in shape and is even fighting again.

His show was back with the overweight legend Roy Jones Jr. and Tyson hopes similar fights in 2021.

A trilogy event has been visited by Evander Holyfield that could be a major event.

Whatever happens to Tyson in 2021, it may be safe to say that his days of making headlines for the wrong reasons are behind him.

That can be good news for the world of boxing.
