In good time, and after 7 long months in “exile” Hapoel Beer Sheva returned to host tonight (Monday) at Toto Turner Stadium, which has been closed for activity since June 2020, due to safety deficiencies discovered on the roof.

In fact, the work on the roof has not yet been completed as it is currently after Phase A, which included the removal of the cladding, so at the moment, the stands are in fact not hermetically sealed and rainproof. Phase B of the works will include the re-installation of the cladding and the club aspires of course that it will be completed until the audience can return to the stands.

Fans who are very excited about returning to the home stadium, even though they can not yet enter the stands, tried to produce a warm welcome and after the game opened lit fireworks outside the entrance gates. View photos of the roof and fireworks lit outside the stadium.
