During the cabinet meeting held today (Sunday), at which it was decided to close Ben-Gurion Airport, the Minister of the Interior Aryeh Deri Went against the will of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Closing the sky for Jewish immigrants as well, and an argument broke out between the two, after Deri slammed Netanyahu for not being able to hear different opinions of his own.

The prime minister replied: “Wait a week, there will be an exceptions committee for that.”
Deri argued that the organized aliyah that should arrive during the coming week should be taken into account and said that “you are sending to the Exceptions Committee, from this thing, I want us to decide here in government. We have never stopped aliyah since the establishment of the state even in times of war and crisis.” Netanyahu replied that “this time we will stop. They can wait, it is not absolute. If there is a virus – we must stop the aliyah.”
Netanyahu then said that he would take care of the immigrants who arrived, to which Deri replied that it was impossible to hold a meeting with all the disruptions in things. Netanyahu asked Deri who was bothering him and Deri replied: “You have to accept other opinions.” Netanyahu did not remain obligated and said: “I can not hear other opinions?”
