“The Notorious” Conor McGregor is on another big payday at UFC 257.

T.the biggest draw in mixed martial arts is back in action Saturday night when Conor McGregor takes on Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. He is a repeat of UFC 178 in 2014 when McGregor won in TKO in the first round.
It marks just the third fight in the Octagon for McGregor since the start of 2017, with his final blow 12 months ago, TKO in the first round of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in Las Vegas. But the Irishman expects to be much more active moving forward. “If they put me up, I’ll get about seven fights next year and a half. That’s what I want, ”McGregor told ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith this week.
Fighting is big business for “The Notorious.” His registered purse for UFC 257 is $ 5 million, but he should pocket at least an additional $ 20 million from his share of pay-per-view income.
