HMOs Clalit, Maccabi and Leumit announced that starting Saturday night, the youth will be able to make an appointment for the vaccine. High school students are asked to come to the vaccination complexes accompanied by their parents or accompanied by a written confirmation attached to the identity card of one of the parents.
The decision to vaccinate high school students comes due to the desire to ensure the proper existence, as far as possible, of the matriculation exams. In addition, the Ministry of Health wants to ensure that the recruitment process for the IDF can be conducted in a good and safe manner in the coming months.

The Ministry of Health has updated that for the admission of 11th-12th grade students, the allocations that the HMOs will receive will be increased by 150,000 vaccines for the first dose in the coming week, out of about 250,000 students who are eligible for the vaccine in total.
