Corona vaccine: Starting tonight, 11th-12th grade students are invited to get vaccinated

The vaccination campaign continues to expand, and starting tonight (Saturday), students in grades 11-12 will also be invited to receive a vaccine against the corona virus. HMOs Clalit, Maccabi and Leumit announced that starting Saturday night, the youth will be able to make an appointment for the vaccine. High school students are asked to come to the vaccination complexes accompanied by their parents or accompanied by a written confirmation attached to the identity card of one of the parents.

The decision to vaccinate high school students comes due to the desire to ensure the proper existence, as far as possible, of the matriculation exams. In addition, the Ministry of Health wants to ensure that the recruitment process for the IDF can be conducted in a good and safe manner in the coming months.
