Unlike the previous night in the NBA which was packed with games, between Thursday and Friday we only got three, but three games are not bad at all. In the spotlight, LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers defeated Yannis Antecompo’s Milwaukee. Golden State also suffered a loss against New York, while Utah continued with its streak as it defeated New Orleans.
Milwaukee (6: 9) – Los Angeles Lakers (4:12) 113: 106
LeBron James & Co. managed to recover from the loss to Golden State in the last game and kept the top of the Western Conference table, and in fact the best balance in the entire league so far. Milwaukee, on the other hand, is recording a second straight loss, hoping no snowball will be created so as not to lose altitude in the East. Yannis Antecompo stood out for the loser with 25 and 12 rebounds, and he got help from Jero Holliday (22) and Chris Middleton (20). But against King James, who scored 34 alongside 8 assists, he needed much more than that. The one who helped LeBron the most was Cantabius Caldwell-Pop with 23. Anthony Davis contributed 18.
For most of the first half the Bucks were the ones who led, but failed to escape for a difference higher than 7 points. After the break, the guest pressed the pedal a little more and created a 12-point advantage, but the locals managed to reduce it and return it to a very close battle until the end. It was not enough for them, as the Lakers were sharper and kept the advantage.

Golden State (7: 8) – New York (8: 8) 119: 104
After a streak of two impressive wins over the mighty Lakers and San Antonio, the Warriors were back to losing despite 30 points from Steph Kerry. The star didn’t get very much help, with Andrew Wiggins scoring 17 and James Weissman 15. The game’s bizarre incident was when Drymond Green showed anger at Weissman the rookie, but the referees apparently misunderstood him and dismissed him. Despite protests from Golden State, the team had to do without him for the entire second half.
On the other side, RJ Barrett stood out with 28 points, while Julius Randall was one assist away from a triple-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds. The Knicks created a double-digit lead as early as the first quarter, the hosts equalized ahead of the break, but again the bunch from the Big Apple took over and cruised until their eighth win of the season and third in a row. At this rate, she will be able to reach the playoffs.

Utah (4:11) – New Orleans (9: 5) 118: 129
One of the hottest teams in the league recently achieved its seventh straight win. The losing side is in a not-so-good period at all with a seventh loss in its last eight games. The Pelicans were the ones who led by a double-digit difference at the end of the first quarter, but the jazz turnaround was completed at the end of the first half and later a gap was created that the guest could not return from. Donovan Mitchell excelled with 36 points, Mike Conley added 20 and Jordan Clarkson 19. Zion Williamson scored 27 against.
