Earlier this week, another veteran Likud member, Yesha Council Chairman David Elhayeni, announced that he was leaving the Likud party and joining Saar’s “New Hope.” Elhayani even attacked the prime minister, saying: “Netanyahu has left the Likud values, he is not a right-wing prime minister. I believe in Gideon Saar’s leadership and support him for prime minister.”
