Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Teardown video shows a problem in recharging battery and display

A Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra compression video was posted on YouTube, highlighting the difficulties in updating its AMOLED screen. Changing the battery pack of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is also difficult, as the reduction shows that a great deal of effort is required to turn off the battery. The teardown video also gives a detailed look at the parts that power the latest Samsung flagship. The phone carries optical image stabilization (OIS) support on three of its cameras. The Galaxy S21 Ultra also seems to have improved thermal management.

The nearly nine-minute tension video posted by PBKreviews YouTube channel will start by removing the back of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra by applying a little heat. The rear has a glass construction, while the camera housing is made of metal.

Removing the back panel of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is exactly the same as how it can remove the back of the regular Galaxy S21, which recently received a drag treatment with the same YouTube channel. However, there are major differences between the two phones in terms of their interior and assembly.

The main speaker of the Galaxy S21 Ultra comes without the foam-ball insulation that is there on the Galaxy S21. Foam balls on the speaker assembly are believed to help make a louder sound with more coverage. But Samsung did not provide that tweak on the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Compared to the vanilla Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also does not have an affordable screen connection cable. Instead the phone has a cable with the screen.

“If you had to replace the screen, you would have to remove the backplate, remove the top cover, and disconnect the screen cable from the main board,” the reporter said in the tension video. “And then you would take away the speaker assembly at the bottom. You would heat the front of the phone where the screen is, and you would crush your old screen. ”

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra battery is also adhesive based and does not include any swipe tabs to help you remove the battery pack.

“This battery is very difficult to remove,” said the reporter. “I had to use some isopropyl alcohol to release the washer so I could get rid of it. “

Samsung seems to have put graphite on the NFC antennae and motherboard to provide better heat dissipation. It also has an Exynos 2100 processor and RAM with a thermal pass on top, according to the video.

The YouTube channel has given the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra a resilience score of six out of 10 – with the effort it takes in removing the battery and screen. The responsiveness score is much lower than the one given to the Galaxy S21 – 7.5 – as the Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with a glass back that is harder to remove, compared to the back plastic.
