A transfer window is opening, the teams are looking for reinforcements, and we are just waiting for football to return. Meanwhile, with most of the teams looking for reinforcements, we set out on a journey after the foreigners who played here. Starting with the foreigners of Maccabi Haifa in the past decade, where is everyone today? We went out to check.
Season 10/11
Adrian Silva (31) – Sampdoria, First Italian League – 11 appearances.
John Colma (39) – Retired from football in 2013, since not playing football professionally.
Peter Messilla (35) – After talks of retirement, the defender returned to play in the Amazolo uniform, from the first league in South Africa.
Andrei Pilavsky (32) – After three years in which he did not play football, the brake returned to the pitches, albeit amateurishly, but returned. He joined Niva, a local league played in Kiev. He claims Pilavsky is fully qualified and has not played football for reasons of conflict with the previous club he played for, and is now trying to get back into the groove.
Saido Yaya (31) – The midfielder continues to travel in Eastern Europe and this season joined Lipaja, who is in fifth place in the Latvian league, last season incidentally played for Dinamo Minsk and we could see him in the Belarusian league.
Vladimir Debalashvili (34) – After playing for Dinamo Batumi, who met BS this year in the Europa League, Debalashvili retired from football.
11/12 season
Boyan Sharnov (33) – After last season he was injured in the Kragomark uniform (Eric Sabo’s team), which was promoted to the first league in Turkey. Sharnov is still without a team.
Edin Chocalic (33) – After 4 years in the second Turkish league, Chuchalic joined this week for Panatolikos from the first league in Greece.
Yuritza Buliat (34) – The Croatian recently played for Hatten from the league in Saudi Arabia, but was recently released and is still without a team.
Daniel Sassarch (38) – Retired from football in 2015.
Marlon de Jesus (29) – After years of playing in his homeland, when last season he even scored 6 goals. The striker moved to the first league in Peru for Deportivo Binacional media. Apart from a brief tenure in the Portuguese Aruca, de Jesus has not actually played in European leagues other than Israel.
2012/2013 season
Joel Demau (33) – After returning for a short term at Hapoel Acre two years ago, now the midfielder who also starred in Sakhnin is playing for Aris Limassol from the second division in Cyprus.
Dino Andlovo (30) – Acquired the million-dollar, he became a player highly identified with the Second Division in China after completing three seasons at Jizing Greentown in which he scored 41 goals.
Season 13/14
Ruben Raios (34) – The midfielder experienced a record season in anorthosis last year with a double-digit number of goals and assists, but this season he has moved to the second division in Turkey for Bandirmespor, where he scored 3 goals in 10 appearances.
Tamash Frishkin (34) – The Hungarian giant continues to rip nets, this time in the Giori uniform from the first league in Hungary, this year he has already scored 13 goals in 16 appearances.
Season 14/15
Vladimir Stojkovic (35) – Collaborator with Beavers Natcho in the Belgrade partisan.
Avraham Fass (41) – Retired from football and became a players’ agent.
Mitchell (35) – After leaving Carvajal, Mitchell still enjoys football and playing in the third division in Spain in the uniform of Marino de Luanco, where he scored 2 goals in 8 appearances
Medo Camara (33) – The dynamic midfielder continued his career at Hakka from the first Finnish league.
Mo Idrisso (40) – The last time it was written about him, he told of an experience in which he was imprisoned following an illegal visa. He has now been released, but has not yet returned to play
Season 15/16
Mark Valiente (33) – A game in the second division in Spain in the Sporting Chihun uniform.
Nikola Drincic (36) – After returning from retirement and winning the Serbian Cup last year, the connection continues to lead the local Vividina.
Ludovic Oberniak (36)) – Retired from football and serves as a commentator on French television.
Romario Pierce (32) – Returned to Romania and plays in the Armstadt uniform from the first league.
Gleanor Output (33) – The tall striker has returned to his homeland and is playing for Telstar from the second division, where he has already scored 12 goals this season.
Season 16/17
Mario Musa (30) – Released from Dinamo Zagreb about two years ago and since then without a team.
Holmar Iolpson (30) – Returned to Ronsburg from the first league in Norway.
Gary Kegelmacher (32) – A game at the luxury club Penarol from Uruguay.
Camille Watzak (33) – The player who did not stop running, returned to his homeland and played in the Bohemians from the bottom of the first league.
Anis Aloshi (35) – Retired from football and plays as a players’ agent in Bosnia.
Pit Azmi (28) – Recently played in the second league in Norway in a Tromso uniform, where he scored 7 goals last year.
Season 17/18
Etienne Reinen (33) – Retired from football.
Alison dos Santos (31) Game in Bnei Yehuda
Georgi Kostadinov (30) – Still playing for the Russian Tula Arsenal, and is on the squad for the Bulgarian national team.
Kayo (34) – A game in the provincial league in Brazil (amateur league).
Stefanos Athensiadis (32) – Recently joined Apollon Larissa, from the second division in Greece.
Season 18/19
Saidova Soma (29) – Returned to the Belgrade partisan and became a key player in it. Its price tag is now estimated at 3 million euros.
Kerim Fry (27) – Joined an artist from the first Dutch league this week on a contract for a season and a half.
Manuel Itura (36) Retired from football.
George Mendzek (32) – After his name was linked with Maccabi Haifa in the summer, he signed with Bayern from the first league in Belgium, where he is a regular player.
Mihil Kramer (32) – Became the leader of Dan Hague from the first Dutch league, scored 4 goals and wore the captain’s armband intermittently.
19/20 season
Trent Sciencebury (29) – The brakeman who played for Carmel last year plays in the first Belgian league in the Kortrijk uniform.
Liu (31) – The defender, who played 58 minutes for Maccabi Haifa, plays in the third league in Spain in a Numancia uniform.
Jando Fox (23) The midfielder who played half a season for Maccabi Haifa in Dundee United from the first league in Scotland.
