Eva Longoria described David Beckham as a “brilliant chef” as she shared her secret to making the perfect Shepherd’s pie – ketchup.
The Desperate Housewives star, 45, is a good friend of the Beckhams and said the former England captain is an expert in the kitchen.
He shared his tip for Shepherd’s sister with Longoria, which he revealed to Jessie Ware on her Table Manners podcast.
“David is a good cook,” said Longoria. “He didn’t teach me, but he told me that ketchup was the trick. ”
She said: “I don’t think I’ve taught him anything. It makes good Bolognese. It’s very much cooking. You can see from his Instagram.
“Victoria is always bringing in new things for me, those brokers were there. I was like ‘what is it? ‘She’s always on the lookout for the latest healthy foods. ”
Ex-Manchester United footballer Beckham, 45, considered his love of food when he appeared in 2017 on Desert Island Discs.
The book he chose was complicated by the cookbook On Fire by Francis Mallmann.
Longoria, who campaigned for Joe Biden in his successful White House bid, also spoke about the impact of the pandemic on charities.
Its foundation helps improve the education of women and girls of Latin American descent or descent.
Longoria said: “We are used to having events and galas and visiting the real places we support and meet the people. That’s what I miss about it.
“I will say, however, that for the Eva Longoria Foundation, we can help more people because we are meaningful and so we have kept everything, moved everything online and and that has allowed us to have more access and allows others to have more access. ”
