Elon Musk Responses to SpaceX Mars Game Developer After 154 press

It looks like Elon Musk may have just agreed to allow an independent game developer to use the SpaceX name and logo for the developer ‘s new game: Mars Flat.

Lyubomir Vladimirov was not shy and did not hesitate to ask Musk’s permission to use the company’s name and logo, as he 154 print, reported Entrepreneur.

Vladimirov sent out with the intention of sending the same message to Musk on Twitter every day for 365 days, or until Musk responded, and finally heard back on day 154.

It was definitely a gutsy move, sending a message to Musk every day, but it probably paid off. The message in question asked “Dear Elon, I’m a dev game. And I’m making a game about settling Mars with you and SpaceX in it. If you think it’s cool, no I just have the “Go ahead” to use your name and logos. I will post this every day for a year or until I get a Yes or No! 154/365. “

It remains unclear as to whether Musk completely agrees with the question, as Musk replied “You can steal our name / logos & we may not sue you.”

That’s “probably” a little uncertain, that’s for sure, but it didn’t stop Vladimirov from building on. Just off the bat, he responded with “I want to give 80% of the profits to SpaceX.” We’ll see what happens in the end.

The game itself is pretty cool. Called Mars to Flat, it is actually a technical survival game about settling on Mars, featuring Musk and SpaceX. Vladimirov even shared a basic trailer of his game on YouTube, showcasing Musk’s EV company, Tesla’s Cybertruck on Mars. It will also show what Vladimirov has been working on these months: 3D modeling, texting, animation, and writing the basic version of the game.

Keep up to date with how the game is progressing either on Vladimirov’s Twitter and YouTube accounts or just on the website, Mars Flat.
